We’re halfway through the summer and this is what I’m loving so far.

On Hulu: Ingrid Goes West (2017)
I first heard about this movie on Reddit. It’s two years old, so I’m not sure if I’m behind or if it didn’t have a wide release. Regardless, I’m glad it came on my radar. If you’re a fan of Black Mirror, you’ll like this one. Its meta and dark-comedy and reminiscent of the “Smithereens” episode of Season 5. Right now (July 13), you can watch it on Hulu.

On Spotify: Lorem Playlist
As a fan of bedroom pop, this summer playlist from Spotify is just right. I’m listening to Lolo Zouaï’s “Caffeine” on repeat, as well as Kevin Abstract’s “Peach.” I also love that it’s incredibly background friendly. It’s the kind of playlist that just plays quiet bops.

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
I’m not going to lie, I feel guilty that I bought something off of Amazon but I got a gift card and used it on this book. Anyways…I enjoyed it. It was a quick read, with a balanced ending of feel-good details and justice. I recommend picking up a copy from a local bookstore, you can find one on IndieBound.

Feetures Socks
When I got fitted for running shoes, the clerk recommended these compression socks that provide targeted support. They’re much more comfortable than my 10-pack of Reebok but they’re pretty pricey at $15 a pair on average. It’s definitely an investment item, although worth it because they have a lifetime guarantee.

This Workout Bra
I’m in the process of expanding my workout drawer as I train for my first half marathon, which I’m super excited about. I found this bra at Target and it’s just so comfortable to run in. I’m a big fan of the fit, it feels secure. I hope they expand the color range and add more solid colors.
